I will head over to eat breakfast at Cafe Presse on the flimsiest of excuses. When I have a friend visiting from out of town, it’s a no-brainer. I even tell them what to eat: Oeufs Plats (Baked Eggs) & Chocolat Chaud. It’s a slam-dunk in the taste department every single time. I’ve extolled the virtues of Cafe Presse’s Ouefs Plats & Chocolat Chaud so many times, I’m not sure there are any new verbs left unused. So here’s some shots instead. Note: these images aren’t my best work. It can be nerve wracking when you have a fellow photog with you, watching every turn of every dial & checking out your every move. Not to mention disconcerting when they’re making pictures of you making pictures of your food. Notwithstanding the average shots here, we had a really fun time shooting our hearts out over breakfast.
This Lemon Cake, just so you know, is incredible. I highly recommend that you go eat some. Soon. They switch the dessert menu about all the time and I would hate you to miss it.
