TkalhaI found your post comments while searching Google. It is very relevant information. Great work. Regularly I do not make posts on blogs, but I have to say that this posting really forced me to do so. Really awesome post. Really fantastic and I will be coming back for more information at your site and revisit it!
geraldine denise kussAmazing results! Wish I lived in the States to be able to buy the book , but here in Brazil it´s a bit more complicated. Have to organize some-one to buy it & send.

Kristi BellCarrie: Have been loving your recipes for a few years now! Your soup cookbook is my “go to” and shows its battle scars with drips and stains and dog-eared pages! Just received the Holiday cookbook and am anxious to try your turkey cooking method. Pardon me for being dense, but do you peel the oranges before placing them in the turkey? Thank you!!
I purchased your ice cream cookbook and I just want everyone to know it’s fabulous! I’ve made the vanilla, strawberry, Jiving Java, Butter Pecan and Chocolate. I’m a huge lover of almond and chocolate together, so after trying your recipes and seeing how they work… I subbed the vanilla extract for almond and threw in some toasted, chopped almonds. You make it positively easy to eat like it’s sinful! My boyfriend and I’ve been eating KETO for nearly 7 months, I’ve lost 47 pounds and he 42. I won’t try to trick myself into thinking that french fries and sugar don’t taste good… but they make me feel BAD! It’s absolutely NO challenge to stay KETO with delicious recipes like yours. (I’ve made the Loaded Twice Cauliflower and the Lemon Marscapone Tarts also.)This food tastes great to anyone, low-carb lifestyle or not. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
DaniPlease let me know if yoiu could help me to get started, becuz I can’t afford the Sane Solution price of 350 per month. There has to be a cheaper, but helpful way. My phone is 805-451-0464, and you have my enail address
MeganI just found out my son has a fructose intolerance, which limits quite a bit what he can eat right now. We were also told he needs to avoid xylitol and erythritol, both of the sweeteners I have on hand, and what are in your recipes. Of the “generally tolerated” sweeteners, which do you recommend?
aspartame, saccharin, sucralose, turbinado
Of course, we also got a list of of lot of sugar products he can have, like table sugar, brown sugar, etc. Would really prefer to avoid those…
Darcy AdamsTo one introvert to another….you are awesome.
carrieAw, Darcy! You made my day – THANK YOU!
Pat JIn your Keto Ice Cream book, you recommend using powdred xylitol. On your web site page on ingredients (link from book) you have two linked sources for xylitol, but I searched on both (iherbs and Amazon) and I do not see any powdered xylitol. You write in the book you can pulverize the granular yourself but buying it powdered is better. Do you have a source for powdered xylitol that you trust is manufacturing the birch product? Thanks, Pat J
Thank you for all your great work on Keto recipes. I just bought your Keto ice cream recipe book.
My problem is that I am allergic to almonds – can you suggest a good substitute for almond milk (is hemp milk ok?) and almond flour? I also cannot tolerate coconut flour.
And there there’s the xylitol issue. I have dogs, and I just won’t risk having them get some of it. I can just see a guest offering one of them a bowl to lick out, when I’m not looking. What about allulose? Would that work as a substitute?
carrieKathy – you can sub the almond milk with any nut milk you choose. I am working on a successful sub for xylitol. Make sure you subscribe so you know when I’ve done it!
Stefanie KaestnerHi Carrie
I recently purchased your Keto ice cream e-book and can’t wait to get started churning delectable ice creams.
Seeing that correct measurements are of vital importance, could you please advise if the cup size you are referring to is 250 ml? Here in Australia 1 cup = 250 ml. When I convert, for example, 8 oz to ml, my conversion tool comes up with 236ml.
Apologies for being pedantic, but this is important to me.
carrie1 cup = 8 fl. oz or 236 ml. But I would not worry about 14 ml. Love to you!
LindaAny link on your website does not get me to the ingredient list and directions for Sane BBQ Sauce. I found a wonderful write-up about it, but not actual recipe. Can you provide the correct link? Thanks
Sherri PattersonWill you be doing a cookbook just with coconut flour? I have a nut allergy
DorothyCarrie – I want to make your sugar cookies. I don’t have konjac flour/powder, but I have arrow root and guar gum. Ok to substitute? How much?
carrieDorothy – arrowroot is 100% starch, so not keto and not recommended. Guar gum has a completely different function to konjac flour. If you want a successful result you need to use the right ingredients. I realize this isn’t the answer you wanted, but my job here is to help you be successful. Love to you!
DorothyThanks, Carrie! I just found your answer – I’m still getting used to your site. Konjac
Root is on the way. Merry Christmas!
Marcy La RiviereI am REALLY enjoying trying recipes from your holiday cookbook. Thank you.
Bea Good :)What do you do, when you don’t/can’t eat almonds of any kind? I also don’t eat dairy of any kind, or eggs. Your diet sounds good, but a lot of your recipes have almond flour in them. What can I substitute for that? Thank you for your time…
I am recently fixated on flan. Chocolate flan… Chocolate mascarpone flan… Healthy chocolate mascarpone flan.
Is there such a thing? Have you ever seen a recipe?
Please let me know.
